A Christmas Cracker

Saturday 11 December, 7.30pm

Kick-start your festive celebrations with A Christmas Cracker from Cambridge Chorale and Prime Brass. These two exceptional ensembles present an exciting programme spanning the ages, with family favourites for Christmas time, including Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, White Christmas and Jingle Bells alongside Howard Blake’s Four Songs Of The Nativity (a cycle of medieval songs imaginatively arranged for choir and brass) and Giovanni Gabrieli’s impressive Christmas Day motet Salvator Noster, scored for fifteen voices. Carol singing with descants, brass and organ raising the rafters… what could be more festive?

£1 from each ticket sold will be donated to WinterComfort for the homeless. WinterComfort supports those who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes by offering them basic amenities, opportunities for educational development and recreation, and a range of services designed to help them achieve greater autonomy.
