With a captivating programme of choral favourites to suit all tastes, this award-winning chamber choir makes its debut at music@stansted. Including sacred music spanning the centuries from Gregorian Chant to Lauridsen, Russian Vespers by Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, choral masterpieces by Debussy and Mäntyjärvi, wonderfully exhilarating folk songs from different countries (Africa, America, Dominican Republic, Korea), jazz standards (Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Somewhere over the rainbow) and uplifting spirituals – all performed with Cambridge Chorale’s extraordinary versatility and panache.
