Carols for Christmas Eve

Carols for Christmas Eve

Thursday 24 December 2020

We have recorded a recital of festive music for Christmas Eve, raising money for the Trussell Trust. Featuring traditional carols, contemporary classics and renaissance masterpieces.

Recorded at Our Lady of The Assumption and The English Martyrs, Cambridge, December 2020.

We are sharing the Christmas Eve recital for free because everyone needs music and some festive cheer in their lives right now, but we would like to ask our supporters to consider donating to the Trussell Trust to help those struggling to feed themselves in these difficult times.

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those unable to feed themselves and their families and 2020 will be even harder than usual for many people.

  • In the bleak mid-winter (Gustav Holst)

The Trussell Trust

Last year, food banks in our network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks. As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute, especially at Christmas. Illness, disability, family breakdown or the loss of a job can happen to any of us. With your help #ThisCanChange
