Lux aeterna

Saturday 24 June 2017 • 7.30 pm

Throughout the years, composers and artists alike have been drawn to the theme of light and the stars, symbolising birth, purity and revelation.

Here we present a selection of unaccompanied choral works, shimmering in the beautiful surroundings of St John’s College Chapel.

As well as works by:

  • Ēriks Ešenvalds
  • György Ligeti
  • Eric Whitacre
  • and Cheryl Frances-Hoad

…we will be performing sparkling pieces by:

  • John Rutter
  • Charles Wood
  • Aleksandr Grechaninov
  • plus a work from our Music Director, Owain Park.

There will be a retiring collection supporting CBM.
